After a longstanding interest in grunge graphic design, I used my capstone as an opportunity to explore the history, theory, and future of the movement.

The book shown below is the culmination of my findings. A commentary on design as a whole, a prediction of what lies ahead for grunge, graphic introspection, and a critique of modern deconstructive processes, it functions as my bachelor's thesis.

I used the exhibition space as an experiment to see how grunge could be pushed further. Completely giving up control as the creator, the attendees of both the exhibition and workshop were able to engage with their intuition, physical tools, emotional responses, and the freedom to create or destroy.
