Brand and editorial design for a conceptual publication dedicated to the visuals associated with music and the music industry.


After identifying a gap in the publication market and the associated target audience, I built a brand and identity system, created content, and designed a digital and physical edition of the editorial.

Built off of fundamental rules of music theory, translated into a visual system, Audio Graphica is the perfect intersection between the music we love and the visuals that make it iconic.

Interpreting half and quarter notes into a visual framework for the publication, AG is built on a unique “double gutter” grid system.

This can be seen in the slight misalignment of elements and the rectangular notches along the edges of certain images.
